DRIP Project Wins Prestigious Award for Surface Water Management in Stokeinteignhead

Stokeinteignhead Parish Council is delighted to share the exciting news that the DRIP (Devon Resilience Innovation Project) team has won the ‘Surface Water Management’ category at the recent Flood and Coast Excellence Awards. The ceremony, hosted by the Environment Agency, celebrated outstanding achievements and innovative work in flood and coastal risk management across the United Kingdom.

The award recognises the collaborative efforts in Stokeinteignhead, where the DRIP project has made significant strides in managing surface water and enhancing the community’s resilience to flooding. This success has only been possible thanks to the dedication and partnership of multiple organisations, as well as the invaluable support from the local community.
